Hi! I’m Thiago Tioma.

I’m a Software Engineer specialized in backend with more than 5 years experience working in cloud-first, highly-available critical financial systems using Java and Kotlin with Spring framework, and TypeScript.

I graduated from the Federal University of ABC (UFABC) with a bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Automation and Robotics Engineering, and I’m currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Electrical and Information Engineering with a focus on Machine Learning at the same institution.

In this blog I post mainly about software engineering, but I also share some ideas about other engineering fields, tech and music.
